NEW RENOVATIONS:

COUNTRY CLUB OF LANSING

Country Club of Lansing is 100 years old in 2008.  The original golf course architect William Langford had the foresight to leave room behind tees for adding length made necessary by changing technology.  Our efforts, though singular in design approach, always take on a team approach in development and construction.  Chris Freeman, General Manager, Tim Chattaway, Contractor and Mark Magee, Superintendent review a re-leveling and expansion of the fifth tee.

SEVEN LAKES GOLF COURSE

Three years after opening of the “Championship Course”, owner Ralph Meo is having Bruce return to update the “old course” and create a “Learning Centre” at Seven Lakes Golf Course, Windsor, Ontario.  The focal point of the update is an island green, Bruce’s first as he has resisted temptation until this point.  The new “old course” will be ready mid-2008 and the Learning Centre has a projected 2009 opening.

CASCADE HILLS COUNTRY CLUB

Bruce has been the consulting architect at Cascade Hills Country Club for over twelve years.  During that time the Club has placed itself in a favorable position with updates of the sand bunkers, tees, and clubhouse and surrounds.  Most recently the fairways are being re-contoured and roughs re-sodded, green drainage and drainage of holes 5-8 fairways with a pump system. Superintendent Al Bathum will be continuing with the fairway contouring and drainage through 2008.

POTTAWATTOMIE COUNTRY CLUB

Michigan City, Indiana is implementing the Master Plan prepared two years ago.  Tom Goodwin, Superintendent, is overseeing the construction of six new tees for 2008.  Plans are to continue with the tee project and recommend drainage in the fairways.
